Garden Transformation – Knysna, November 2023

This garden transformation in Knysna beautifully reflects the creativity and vision of a couple looking to create a serene outdoor space to spend quality time together. They envisioned a tranquil environment that blends nature with comfort, and I was brought on to help bring their ideas to life.

The project involved the addition of white outdoor curtains to the pergola at one end of the garden. I selected a high-quality outdoor fabric in white to ensure the curtains could withstand the outdoor elements and maintain their elegance over time. To make them more practical, I designed the curtains with loops that fasten with velcro. This clever design allows the clients to easily remove the curtains for washing when needed, ensuring that the space remains neat and fresh.

The transformation added a sense of privacy and elegance to the garden, turning it into a perfect retreat for the couple to relax and enjoy their outdoor surroundings.
